Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage networking and systems infrastructure solutions
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless network, server, and application connectivity issues
- Analyze performance data and recommend optimization plans
- Deploy and maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments
- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services
- Implement backup and recovery solutions
- Configure and maintain Juniper switches, Aruba APs, routing protocols, and fiber connectivity
- Manage network segmentation, VLANs, traffic optimization, and wireless infrastructure
- Define and enforce security policies and perform vulnerability management
- Automate routine tasks with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Provide training, mentoring, and tier 3 support
- Create documentation and diagrams of network and system configurations
- Participate in on-call rotation and travel up to 10% as needed
