Position Summary

This position helps C&W DustTech to achieve our mission and vision through the effective and efficient completion of the essential duties listed below. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable, accounts receivable, and disbursements functions across multiple business entities. You will collaborate with various departments and external parties to maintain strong financial controls and support our continued growth.

Essential Duties

Essential Duties:

  • Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy.
  • Prepare and process payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor records and communicate with vendors as needed.
  • Manage disbursements to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Add and Maintain Supplier records in ERP systems.
  • Add and Maintain Customer records in ERP systems.
  • Facilitate intercompany invoicing.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile balance sheets accounts, monthly.
  • Work closely with the sales and quality departments to receive return merchandise and issue credits to the customer.
  • Assist Controller and/or CFO with annual audit preparation.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional Accounting Courses a plus

Licenses and Certifications: NA

Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience; preferably in Manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the ERP system utilized by the organization; Experience with Made-2- Manage preferred.
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and have the willingness to work overtime.
  • Ability to adhere to safety rules and procedures.

Other Requirements:

  • Must maintain excellent attendance record.
  • Must pass drug test and physical.

Other Physical Requirements:

Work Environment

The Accounting Clerk will work primarily in an indoor office environment, and occasionally in a manufacturing facility subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, with exposure to occasional temperatures below 32 degrees or above 100 degrees. The noise level in the environment may be moderate to loud.
