Staff Full Stack Engineer (REMOTE)
Skills
- Proficient in building responsive and performant UIs using TypeScript
- Experienced in cloud infrastructure or Kubernetes management interfaces
- Skilled with Single Page Application frameworks, ideally React
- Strong backend API development focused on performance, security, and scalability
- Experience with testing libraries like Jest, react-testing-library and Cypress
- CSS expertise including Flexbox and Grid for responsive design
- State management experience with Redux
- Familiarity with bundling tools such as Webpack
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps workflows
Responsibilities
- Design and build end user facing experiences of Upbound Console
- Design and develop backend declarative, RESTful, and GraphQL APIs
- Optimize and troubleshoot Single Page Applications across multiple browser environments
- Report and fix bugs in private and public projects
- Author test plans and implement unit and integration testing
- Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams effectively
- Support full project lifecycle including discovery, design, building, and deployment
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not mandatory
