Opportunity Details

Universal Health Services (UHS), a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services with over 250 facilities nationwide, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) / Medical Director to oversee psychiatric services at one of our standalone Behavioral Health facilities on the West Coast. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
  • Oversee inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for both child and adolescent, as well as adult populations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and UHS policies.
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of new programs and services.

 

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified in Psychiatry; Child & Adolescent Psychiatry certification is a plus.
  • Active medical license or eligibility for licensure in [State].
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry.
  • Previous leadership experience in a psychiatric setting, overseeing inpatient Psychiatrist preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
