We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join Thomson Reuters Transfer Pricing Controllership team. The transfer pricing team supports the Company’s legal entity compliance requirements by executing the Company’s transfer pricing policies that support the required accounting rules and country regulations. As a Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for performing activities as prescribed in the global transfer pricing tax policies. This individual will provide critical financial and analytical support for all aspects of Tax and Compliance requirements.
About the Role:
In this position as a Lead Analyst, you will:
Assist with the technical support of the transfer pricing engine
Overlay required transfer pricing policies and calculation engine over complex reporting systems, processes and policies
Model and implement transfer pricing methodologies
Prepare high level documentation of the logic applied
Support implementation of changes to existing transfer pricing methodology as required
Provide business support for the Tax and Statutory Controllership teams
Analyze legal entity profitability for major jurisdictions
Transfer pricing point of contact for tax and statutory audits
Assist with future software migration projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and minimal disruption to business operations
Manipulate and summarize large data sets to highlight trends and risk
Maintain and enhance existing automations to fit business needs
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Lead Analyst if your background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive experience in an Accounting and/or Finance roles, preferably in a multinational organization
Integrated financial systems experience required (SAP, BEx, FCCS)
Able to manage multiple priorities with competing demands for time and resources to successfully meet project and schedule deadlines
Have strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail
Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams
