Senior Software Engineer - IAA

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

The Senior Software Engineer stays current on modern technologies and innovations, and is willing to work with a team of developers, product architects in developing best performing and highly scalable solution. Individual must have at least 7 years of experience working in a Development team utilizing C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, WCF, RESTful and front end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML5, knockout JS.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

• 7 Years of application development experience using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, SQL Server

• Experience in front end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML5

• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Interfaces

• Solid understanding of Design Patterns Dependency Injection, Domain Driven Design

• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree (Computer Science preferred) with 7+ years of relevant application development experience

• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively within the project team and other application teams are required

• Organization, time management skills and attention to detail are critical. Must continue to enhance technical knowledge and skills through research and experimentation, in-house and external classes

• Knowledge of auto insurance industry or auto auction industry is a plus
