Working on the Growth Department
We are seeking a Provider Sales Manager with a strong healthcare sales management background to lead our field Provider Engagement team. In this role, you will be responsible for holding the team accountable to KPIs/metrics while also building relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and community-based organizations (CBOs) that serve Medicaid populations.
A quick heads up: This is a contract role (minimum 20 hours/week, maximum 35 hours/week). There’s potential for it to convert into a longer-term opportunity. During the contract period, benefits won’t be available. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in now and is excited about the possibility of growing with the team if the fit is right.
What You’ll Get to Do
Report to the EVP, Growth.
Meet and exceed own individual sales KPIs, including outreach and activation targets.
Oversee and mentor the Provider Engagement team to ensure performance goals are met.
Identify and connect with providers, hospitals, health clinics, and key decision-makers to promote Tangelo’s services.
Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and discussions to drive provider engagement.
Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities, and provide insights to inform business strategies.
Offer market feedback and data-driven recommendations to the leadership team.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve inquiries, enhance customer experience, and ensure seamless service delivery.
Track sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics while generating reports for leadership.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
7+ years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sales, with a strong track record of success.
Proven leadership experience in managing sales teams.
Expertise in Medi-Cal benefits and healthcare industry terminology.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Must be located in Southern California and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)
The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
