Test Manager

Test Manager (State Street Bank And Trust Company; Boston, MA):  As an internal and client facing role, serve as primary test liaison to support client onboarding; Work closely with client implementation teams to develop a robust test strategy that is inclusive of Business and Client testing; Develop test strategy that articulates the environment, business domains, data cycles, data quality and operational workflow required to successfully execute both BUAT and CUAT; Be accountable for setting up a standard testing framework and methodology that can be used for each Alpha implementation effort; Work on multiple client implementations to develop and deploy and cohesive test strategy; Provide oversight and guidance to a team of test business analysts; Evaluate automation options and look to improve efficiency of testing so we can test faster, retain quality and minimize onboarding time; Manage a pool of Business Test Analysts who are experienced with business domains (ABOR/IBOR/PERF/RISK/Security Reference/Benchmarks/Etc.), test methodologies, test tools, testing lifecycle and test artifacts; Contribute to standard artifact creation such as test plans , test cases and defect logs; Engage with Product Management, Technology, and Operations teams to contribute to future state platform design emphasizing software functionality, data quality, operational efficiency and managing the interrelationships of the systems and processes that encompass the entire Alpha ecosystem; and Work as a member of a global team – provide status, communicate issues, share ideas, and follow process for analysis, development and support protocols. Hybrid telecommuting from within the U.S. permitted pursuant to Company policy. Travel required: 10% including domestic and/or international travel.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Engineering or related; plus 7 years of experience supporting client implementations in financial services.

Must have: Experience with testing tools and test automation; Investment Management experience; Proficient with Microsoft Office and account platforms; and Experience in SQL, database design, and multi-tenancy architecture. (Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the stated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years or amount of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)
