Job Description
EHS Specialists with experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical devices industries. Responsible for planning, implementing, and enforcing an organization’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
To perform:
- Ensure that the company complies with all Occupational Safety regulations.
- Experience in processing and obtaining work permits related to company operations. For example: permission for welding jobs, work in confined spaces, height work, chemical work, etc.
- Assist in training programs.
- Develop and manage EHS programs, procedures, and work instructions.
- Report any property and equipment damage to immediate supervisor.
- Create, maintain, and oversee the compliance calendar for all regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a role model for safe personal practices.
- Support development of job hazard analysis and risk assessments.
- Observe safety and security procedures. Use equipment and materials properly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree of Science or Engineering.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Strong knowledge in OSHA and Safety regulations.
