Location: Dallas, TX/Cleveland, OH/Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid
We are seeking a skilled GraphQL Developer to design, develop, and implement GraphQL APIs and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GraphQL principles, experience in building efficient and scalable APIs, and proficiency in related technologies. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs and schemas.
- Implement data fetching and manipulation logic using GraphQL.
- Optimize GraphQL queries for performance and efficiency.
- Integrate GraphQL APIs with various data sources.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to define data requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GraphQL APIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a GraphQL Developer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and developing GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in [Specify programming languages used in your stack, e.g., Node.js, Python, Java].
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific GraphQL libraries and tools (e.g., Apollo Server, GraphQL Yoga, Relay).
- Experience with API security and authentication (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
- Experience with testing GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
