The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger, reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts, preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis, training new accountants, and preparing annual work papers for year-end audits.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent 2. One year of hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience3. Proficient in business software applications4. Working knowledge of windows based personal computers5. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
Preferred qualifications:
1. Two or more years hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience 2. Current CPA 3. Full cycle accounting experience

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $99,840.00 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
