Senior Security Program Engineer
Skills
- Cloud and Networking infrastructure expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS, networking, security monitoring, intrusion detection and response.
- Experience with web application security assessments and penetration testing.
- Programming skills ideally in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar configuration management tools like Jsonnet, Kapitan, Helm, or Kustomize.
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop Phaidra’s Product Security Program integrating cloud & application security into the SDLC.
- Engage with Engineering, Research, and Developer teams to facilitate threat modeling and security practices.
- Design and implement secure infrastructure and reference architectures for customer-facing systems.
- Build security tools and processes using DevSecOps and SRE methodologies to protect critical infrastructure.
- Secure the CI/CD pipeline through security assessments and improvements.
- Conduct security reviews of core IT and production infrastructure.
- Work with GCP and on-premise platforms utilizing Kubernetes and cloud native technologies.
- Maintain cross-functional relationships to drive security initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
