Skills
- Experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and related evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Knowledge of relaxation strategies and motivational interviewing
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and administrative technologies (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers
- Competence in electronic health record documentation
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including MDs and dietitians in a digital integrated healthcare environment
- Provide evidence-based clinical interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans for GI condition patients
- Maintain health records and document encounters in electronic health records following clinical protocols
- Participate in professional training to maintain licensure and expand knowledge
- Engage in clinical coordination meetings and contribute to best practice development
Education
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or a relevant field
- Active, valid license to practice therapy (LPC, LCSW, LICSW, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent)
