Technical Product Manager
- Owning the product roadmap for our tax engine, delivery service, and other core marketing growth product offerings.
- Working cross-functionally with sales & partnership teams to identify potential growth products that helps OpenBorder Merchants to grow internationally
- Building client-facing tools and ensuring seamless international tax, duties, and checkout experiences
- Managing A/B tests and experiments to drive conversion and performance insights
- Leading sprint planning and prioritization in an agile environment
- Communicating clearly with clients, gathering feedback, and translating needs into technical requirements
- Working closely with engineers to define product/feature functionality and execute against the roadmap that enhance our clients & partners’ experience with OpenBorder
- Defining and tracking key metrics of the success of our product building & adaptation
- Resolving any product issues with OpenBorder clients and cross-functional internal teams
- Working closely with React, Node.js, and Shopify ecosystems
- 2–5 years of product management experience in e-commerce (bonus for international ecommerce experience)
- Either a degree in Computer Science or hands-on experience with coding/engineering.
- Comfortable working with APIs, basic scripting, and collaborating closely with engineers
- Familiarity with Shopify, checkout flows, and ecommerce conversion metrics
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with client-facing responsibilities
- Experience with React, Node.js, and Shopify is a strong plus
- Previous exposure to international tax, shipping, or payment systems is a bonus
