Are you a computer engineer with a passion for automation of VLSI ASIC design? Be part of a diverse team creating NVIDIA's chip design methodology! These chips are among the largest and most complex designs in the world and use advanced silicon processes. We're responsible for NVIDIA’s front-end ASIC software including RTL synthesis, equivalence checking, and early physical design and methodology for all of NVIDIA's semiconductor products. As part of our team, you'll design, develop and support sophisticated software around EDA tools and other CAD programs.
What you'll be doing:
You will architect highly automated and customizable design software incorporating logic/physical synthesis, design planning, and equivalence checking for industry-leading chip designs
Apply software engineering practices to streamline development and automate testing and deployment of our software.
Be responsible for design, implementation and testing of in-house CAD software
Work with chip design teams and leading EDA vendors to evaluate the industry's most powerful design implementation and analysis tools
Provide support for ASIC tools and flows
What we need to see:
BS in Computer Science or Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years of CAD or software development experience; MS preferred
Software engineering experience with software design, algorithms, data structures, testing
Familiarity with Verilog and ASIC implementation flow and tools
Experience developing flows and/or tools for chip design
Proficiency in at least one of Python, C/C++, Tcl, Perl
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Knowledge or experience with logic synthesis, physical design, formal equivalence checking.
Experience in other ASIC methodologies such as RTL Lint, CDC, DFT or STA.
Familiarity with Machine Learning/Deep Learning

The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 212,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
