Skills
- Proficiency in Java and SQL programming.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with shell scripting languages such as bash, python, or PowerShell.
- Competence with Git workflows including branching and merging.
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support backend software across electric, gas, water, sewer, and broadband industries.
- Build and enhance standard and customized software functionalities for members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Investigate and resolve moderate software issues and bugs.
- Create unit and integration tests for software code.
- Follow established software development methodologies and procedures.
- Conduct peer code reviews and walkthroughs.
- Perform other assigned related duties.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
