Developer Tech Lead - AVP

Job Overview:

Our company is seeking a skilled tech lead software developer to help with the development of many projects that span different technologies and requirements.  You will be working with a motivated team in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and development of dynamic account opening and account maintenance applications.

  • Explore and implement AI based solutions to enhance the account opening and client onboarding systems.

  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through technical design and implementation of industry best practices adhering to LPL’s modernization practices, cloud practices, SDLC and release management processes.

  • Develop positive relationships with business partners to understand their needs, manage expectations, deliver value-add solutions and support translation of problem statements into system requirements.

  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and show success through KPIs.

  • Full application life-cycle coordination and management of deliverables in alignment with best practices and organizational compliance goals

  • Collaborate with other shared services teams (technical and non-technical) to ensure solutions and platforms are both functional and sustainable.

  • Use customer and business feedback to inform roadmaps and non-functional goals.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in owning and driving full stack applications as hands-on Engineering Tech Lead - guiding, solutioning, delivering, and documenting team’s development efforts towards successful project delivery and application support.

  • 8+ experience with the following technologies: .NET core, AWS/Azure with Kubernetes and Docker, SQL/Postgres/MongoDB, Kafka, Microservices, Angular, and Typescript

  • 6+ years of experience with designing scalable APIs using containers over Docker/Kubernetes

  • Knowledgeable with BPM technologies (Camunda, Appway)

  • Experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS

  • CI/CD using GitHub repositories.

Core Competencies:

  • Experience with owning and production support of mission-critical applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.

  • Strong estimation, foresight, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interface effectively with senior SVP/EVP level executives and business stake holders.

  • Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools.


 

Pay Range:

$140,475-$234,125/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
