Skills
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails development with at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with ReactJS for front-end development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture including building, deploying, operating, and maintaining services.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as NewRelic, CloudWatch, or Sentry.
- Ability to work on ambiguous and complex project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient services to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with peers and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and efficiency.
- Identify and address areas of improvement through refactoring, testing, and deployment automation.
- Work closely with stakeholders such as loan officers and real estate agents to understand business requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and DevOps to support broader business goals.
- Make data-driven engineering and product decisions to optimize operational processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
