Sr Staff Hardware System Design Engineer
Skills
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Serdes, PCIe, DDR
- Design experience with power sub-sections (POLs, VRMs)
- Knowledge of lower speed interfaces (SPI, I2C, CANbus)
- Experience with CPLDs/FPGAs and Verilog
- Competence in using lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Responsibilities
- Review and align designs with Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
- Create board functional specifications and design collateral
- Design products based on GroqChip LPU AI/ML processors
- Lead PCB layout and signal integrity/power integrity (SI/PI) analysis
- Contribute to chassis design and multi-system hardware implementations
- Debug hardware and software issues at chip, board, and system levels
- Design boards for ASIC bring-up and post-silicon validation testing
- Hands-on lab debugging of hardware issues
- Support product certification and go-to-market activities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
