JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Greystar is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive the investment performance and operational excellence of our multifamily portfolio. This individual will play a key role in executing our investment management strategies, overseeing lease-ups, optimizing asset value, and collaborating across teams to achieve financial success across a portfolio of owned assets.JOB DESCRIPTION
Champion the implementation of investment strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with Greystar’s growth goals.
Identify and pursue new investment opportunities, lead due diligence, structure financial proposals, and manage transitions of newly acquired or developed assets.
Partner closely with property management to develop and lead lease-up strategies for new developments.
Drive market positioning, pricing strategy, and outreach campaigns to ensure successful stabilization and revenue performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for equity partners, delivering portfolio insights, financial reports, and market updates.
Act promptly to address partner concerns and strengthen long-term client satisfaction.
Conduct ongoing reviews of asset performance, identify potential risks or underperformance, and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance returns.
Maintain compliance with debt/equity obligations and monitor investment performance using DCF modeling and forecasting tools.
Implement initiatives that improve property-level performance, reduce expenses, and increase NOI.
Collaborate with Development and Construction teams to ensure smooth asset delivery and completion of capital improvement projects.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Analysts and Associates.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
Qualifications
5+ years of multifamily asset management experience, including a proven track record in lease-up strategy and execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
End-to-end experience supporting real estate development projects, from concept through delivery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
High financial acumen, advanced modeling skills, and deep understanding of real estate finance.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate them into portfolio-level success.
A leadership mindset: you define vision, inspire performance, and elevate your team.
This role can be based in Boston, MA, or New York City (NYC). If based in NYC, frequent travel to Boston, MA is required.

Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
