Grammarly is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with over 5 years of experience to enhance the reliability of their back-end systems and support future growth in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities: Manage and scale a Kubernetes-based control plane handling vast data processes, enhance automation strategies, and deploy machine learning systems.
Skills: Proficient in incident management, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with Java and Kubernetes is ideal but not mandatory.
Qualifications: Over 5 years of SRE or DevOps experience; familiarity with Docker, Linux, and Terraform; experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an SRE to join our infrastructure team. This role will be responsible for building software to ensure the reliability of our back-end systems, working with engineers who develop them, and planning for our future growth. You will work with our existing production engineering teams in the EU as we transition away from a “you build it, you own it” model.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: $214,000 – $260,000 /year (USD)
