Grammarly is seeking an Engineering Manager for SRE to lead and expand its Infrastructure Team with a hands-on approach to enhancing their cloud infrastructure and service offerings.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include growing the SRE team, developing infrastructure plans, coordinating with engineering teams, and supporting enterprise customers through SLOs and incident management.
Skills: Candidates should have 5+ years of SRE experience, team management skills, familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and knowledge of Kubernetes or container systems.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience in remote team management and a strong understanding of the SRE software lifecycle.
Location: This position is hybrid, primarily based in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation: $260000 - $340000 / Annually

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an SRE Manager to lead our Infrastructure Team. This role will be hands-on as we build out an SRE team at Grammarly and involve all phases of the SRE lifecycle, from planning to incident management.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: $260,000 – $340,000/year (USD)
