Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aligned with GEAPP’s goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of events including planning, budgeting, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to maintain a diverse events calendar and ensure cohesive event messaging.
- Lead participation in major platform events and coordinate regional events reflecting local contexts.
- Create customized event experiences to deepen funder relationships and showcase GEAPP’s impact.
- Manage vendor relationships and event logistics including venue, catering, technical needs, and travel.
- Develop promotional content, briefing materials, and run-of-show documents for events.
- Ensure all events adhere to brand standards and sustainability commitments.
Education
- Relevant professional experience in event management.
- Preferred experience or knowledge in climate, energy access, or international development sectors.
Benefits
- Annual salary range $120,000-$135,000 commensurate with experience.
