Overview

We’re seeking a Treasury Manager to lead our treasury operations across a diverse portfolio of companies and joint ventures. This is a high-impact role that partners closely with leadership to ensure financial agility, manage risk, and support growth initiatives.  This position is based in our Providence, RI Headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Provide strategic support to Company Leadership regarding all aspects of treasury and cash management
    • Work with Financial Planning and Analysis team to develop company cash flow models for 40+ companies and construction joint ventures
    • Forecast cash positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment across multiple entities
    • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational needs and capital investment requirements
    • Maintain relationships with multiple local, national, and international banks
    • Responsibility for the credit facility including monitoring covenant and other compliance, implementation of future extensions, and leadership on recommended credit solutions
    • Arrange for additional financing when necessary for acquisitions or other capital needs
    • Evaluate lease, buy, finance decisions relating to company assets, equipment, vehicles, and other capital acquisitions
    • Invest short term funds and monitor the activities of third parties overseeing outsourced treasury functions on behalf of the company
    • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
    • Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements
    • Define and implement corporate policies & procedures regarding managing such risks as foreign exchange, liquidity, credit, interest rate, and operational risk
    • Assess risk and recommend hedging opportunities to mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange positions
    • Monitor and manage accounts receivable reporting and collection efforts for long-term construction contracts
    • Provide treasury expertise to other enterprise functions including supply chain, operations, travel & expense management, fleet management and construction operations
    • Manage team of professionals to deliver high quality support to the enterprise
    • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships both internally & externally

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics
  • MBA or other advanced degree in Finance a plus
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) a plus.
  • Construction Industry Experience a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in finance and treasury within an international corporate treasury role
  • 5+ years of experience managing and directing a Finance/Treasury team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Treasury Management System Experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet & modeling skills
  • Strong knowledge of daily corporate cash management
  • Exposure to large ERP systems, Oracle, SAP, CMiC. Experience with Treasury automation, workstations
  • Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills

Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.

 

For Rhode Island this ranges from $129,000-$150,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
