What We Do

First American is seeking qualified candidates to grow our Technology Risk and Governance team. An ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience developing and implementing risk and compliance programs for regulated companies, and 15+ years of diverse professional experience driving success building and operating results-based programs and initiatives.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise to a variety of professionals and program leaders related to control program design and operations.
  • Drive initiatives to improve technology risk and compliance programs.
  • Lead cross-functional v-teams to refine and develop programs related to risk and controls governance and program excellence.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Program development and change management
  • History of working with control frameworks to drive effective control design and control operating effectiveness
  • Working knowledge of standards (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, FFIEC) 
  • Expertise in risk rationalization and controls consolidation in a regulated environment
  • 10+ years of enterprise risk and controls experience 
  • 10+ years of building enterprise programs
  • 15+ years of growth in diverse and challenging roles delivering measurable success.

Ideally you will also have experience with:  

  • Knowledge of risk-managed CMDB/ITAM programs
  • Data analytics and reporting of KRIs
  • Banking / insurance industry 
  • Working in risk and compliance leadership roles.
  • Successfully managing complex risk and compliance projects
  • Building compliance programs in Fortune 100 companies.

Pay Range: $192,400 - $256,525 Annually 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
