As a Cell Culture Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our small-scale and pilot laboratories. Responsibilities include:

• Support daily maintenance and management of lab-based equipment
• Coordinate vendor-supported equipment maintenance according to schedule
• Set up and maintain small-scale and pilot-scale bioreactors
• Execute Cell Culture studies in small-scale and pilot laboratories

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
• Hands-on experience executing cell culture studies in small-scale or pilot laboratories
• Skilled in building, disassembling, and cleaning bioreactors, including associated parts and probes
• Experience with the setup and maintenance of both small-scale and pilot-scale bioreactors
• Proficient in inoculating, feeding, and sampling reactors and shake flasks
• Experience running samples on analytical equipment and compiling data/results
• Familiar with maintaining cell culture passages
• Competent in calibrating probes, aseptically autoclaving bioreactors, and preparing batch media
• Comfortable using online acquisition systems such as MFCS, DeltaV, and ambr for trend monitoring
• Experience working with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN)
