Review raw material, in-process, and finished product testing to determine release status
Lead investigations into out-of-specifications (OOS), deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints
Administer CAPA processes and oversee resolution pathways for quality issues
Conduct internal audits and external supplier/partner quality assessments
Manage food safety, allergen, non-GMO, and stability programs across the organization
Maintain supplier approval and qualification programs, including on-site audits
Support cross-functional teams by providing compliance guidance, documentation review, and risk analysis
Take personal ownership of outcomes and hold quality to a high standard
Stay calm, focused, and precise under regulatory pressure or audit scrutiny
Value structure, accountability, and cross-departmental collaboration
Look for opportunities to improve systems, reduce risk, and drive excellence
Are energized by complex problem-solving and continuous improvement
Require micromanagement to stay compliant or meet deadlines
Prefer working outside of defined quality systems and documentation requirements
Avoid taking responsibility for errors or investigation follow-through
Are uncomfortable engaging across functions to drive corrective action
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in dietary supplements or FDA-regulated industries
Strong working knowledge of cGMPs (21 CFR 111/117), FDA requirements, and food safety principles
Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
Proven ability to manage audits, document investigations, and lead CAPAs from initiation to closure
Systems thinking, analytical rigor, and an unwavering commitment to product integrity
