Description
Desert Botanical Garden is regarded as one of the top botanical gardens in the world and a leader in conservation of desert plants. The Schilling Library is a focused, special collection that provides resources for researchers and educators and is the steward of the Garden’s historic records. We seek an individual with an interest in preserving history to assist in archiving the Garden’s institutional records.
The successful candidate will work part-time (temporary) under the direction of the Garden’s Head Librarian.
Position Purpose
To support the Library’s archival collection by processing and preserving the Garden’s organizational papers in accordance with accepted standards and practices.
Essential Duties
Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Regular communication with the librarian, library volunteers and members of the Garden staff.

Working Conditions
Office environment with moderate physical activity involved when lifting and moving boxes up to 30 pounds.
