CyberArk’s Data Forge team is building the secure backend systems that power our Machine Identity platform—used by some of the world’s largest enterprises to manage digital certificates, protect secrets, and automate key lifecycles. As part of this core engineering group, you'll design scalable microservices that underpin the cryptographic trust needed in a Zero Trust world.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop secure, scalable backend services in Go to support CyberArk’s Machine Identity offerings.
• Build APIs and infrastructure for automated certificate rotation, code signing protection, and secret management.
• Collaborate with product, security, and DevOps teams to deliver resilient cloud-native services (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Maintain and improve microservices used across the CyberArk identity platform.
• Contribute to technical architecture, code reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers.

• 5+ years of backend development experience; strong proficiency in Go or a similar systems language (Java, Rust, etc.)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and security best practices.
• Experience with TLS/SSL, PKI, secrets management, or cryptographic protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Passion for building secure systems that solve real-world identity challenges at scale.

• Bonus:

• Previous work on identity, security, or cryptographic products.
• Contributions to open-source projects in the Go ecosystem.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
