Curriculum Associates is seeking a hands-on Manager of Software Engineering to lead full-stack development teams focused on enterprise content management.
Responsibilities: Lead and grow full-stack engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentoring engineers, collaborating on product roadmaps, and championing best practices in software development.
Skills: Strong knowledge of modern full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development, especially with React, GraphQL, and Node.js; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications: 7+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in engineering management; experience with agile methodologies and a passion for education is a plus.
Location: Position based in North Billerica, Massachusetts, USA.
Compensation: $110500 - $196500 / Annually

We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused Manager, Software Engineering to lead multiple full-stack development teams building core components of our enterprise content management platform. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the technical roadmap, fostering a strong engineering culture, and mentoring talented developers working with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and product.

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $110,500. - $196,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
