- Strong knowledge of consumer financial protection laws such as TILA, UDAAP, ECOA, RESPA, FCRA.
- Experience with compliance testing and monitoring tools including web crawling, RegEx, and text matching software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, Looker, and Loan Origination Systems.
- Excellent professional writing and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze legal and regulatory requirements and apply them effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory compliance reviews of marketing and transactions with tools like web crawlers and AI.
- Perform monthly transaction testing for compliance with relevant federal and state laws.
- Communicate compliance findings and drive remediation with internal teams and external partners.
- Process Data Subject Access Requests following privacy laws.
- Lead Financial Crimes investigations aligned with AML, BSA, and FACTA requirements.
- Generate and manage compliance reports using Excel, Salesforce, and Looker.
- Assist with the management and updates of compliance policies and procedures.
- Participate in consumer complaint investigations and responses.
- Review and monitor marketing partner activities for compliance.
- Support Fair Lending compliance testing and reporting activities.
- Evaluate vendor risks and provide written risk assessments.
- Engage in privacy initiatives responding to regulatory changes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience considered.
