The Conrad Company, a fast-growing, award-winning family-owned business located in York, PA is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the accounting team. As an Accounting Specialist, you should be a skilled researcher, possess strong communication and computer skills, and be adept at analyzing information while providing prompt, courteous responses to inquiries and requests from associates, customers, and vendors. To succeed as an Accounting Specialist, you should be committed to providing efficient, reliable support to all departments, sister brands, and external parties. You should be trustworthy and thorough, with excellent time management skills. The Accounting Specialist will perform functions across accounts receivable and accounts payable for various companies under The Conrad Company.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Invoicing.
· Collection of past due receivable accounts.
· Maintaining customer sales tax files.
· Preparing invoice correction documents as required.
· Posting customer payments.
· Filing transactional documentation.
· Matching of accounts payable invoices/receipts.
· Vendor invoice entry.
· Preparing weekly check run(s) for multiple companies.
· Monthly account reconciliations.
· Other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience working in Acumatica or other ERP systems.
· Experiences working with state sales tax and exemptions.
