Mechanical Engineer
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD
- Strong skills in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar
- Experience with MATLAB for simulation and data analysis
- Knowledge of PCB design constraints and packaging integration
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), GD&T standards, and mechanical documentation
Responsibilities
- Design and model mechanical components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Creo
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, and mechanical systems
- Collaborate on integration of mechanical components with Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
- Analyze and simulate systems using MATLAB
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation
- Support prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration with electrical, manufacturing, and QA teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
