We’re hiring a Legal Strategy & Product Lead to spearhead how we systematically identify and evaluate new case categories. This is a foundational role for a new legal strategy team focused on case selection — combining analytical rigor, legal acumen, and product frameworks to guide what we pursue next.
You’ll develop frameworks for evaluating legal theories, build repeatable systems for opportunity discovery, and collaborate closely with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of law, strategy, and data.
Success in this role means launching a business unit(s) that identifies, capitalizes on, and saturates all viable cases within a new vertical—effectively becoming the enforcement arm against companies in violation (Ex: holding accountable all companies that make it difficult to cancel subscriptions).

ClaimClam is an AI claims agent that helps match, prepare, and file claims for consumers get paid for every corporate violation impacting them. We specialize in mass actions related to data breaches, privacy violations, and antitrust cases. To date, we’ve processed over 55,000 claims and expect to recover more than $75 million for our users.
Our platform enables law firms to automate plaintiff acquisition, claims processing, claimant communications, and settlement administration. We currently work with over a dozen law firms, with partners from Am Law 100 firms, and have earned a reputation in complex litigation as an ethical operator unafraid to take big swings (Google us!). Our partners love us because we help them find the right claimants, handle operational complexities, and allow them to focus on what they do best: litigating and negotiating against wrongdoing corporations.
• Develop and refine our case categorization and selection strategy, identifying new legal opportunities worth pursuing
• Build frameworks and scoring systems to evaluate vertical expansion opportunities (e.g., new types of claims, new products, or jurisdictions)
• Identity meta-factors to drive prioritization of claims-type discovery and legal product/service expansion efforts — Ex. compare and evaluate traditional factors (ex. ability to pay, jurisdiction, case law), incongruent / intersectional opportunities (ex. data breaches, class action opt-outs, vs arbitration-triggered claims), and macros (ex. Trump administration changes to previously agency enforcement)
• Develop and test product theses based on data; lead productization of high-signal opportunities
• Partner with Engineering and Data teams to leverage underutilized (public) data, iteratively improve case metrics such as case quality and maximum partner case load
• Meet with partner law firms for research and learning, and to help them optimize their usage of the ClaimClam product/service
• Legal thinker with strong research instincts and a product mindset
• Self-motivated, results-driven, with a learning / growth mindset. Bonus: if you have previous early-stage startup experience. Or if you have data engineering or analytics skillset.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams
• 5+ Years experience in one or more of the following (or similar):
• Judicial clerkships or complex litigation
• Litigation finance or mass action/class action case analysis
• Legal research roles at law firms or legal tech companies

• Ex-founder or 0-to-1 operator with track record of building products from scratch, and thrives in ambiguity
