Responsibilities
- Serve as the key day-to-day client contact supporting strategic earned media campaigns.
- Develop media relations action plans, goals, objectives, media targets, and outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with strategists and creative teams to deliver effective solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Manage mid to junior health media team members and foster talent growth.
- Maintain positive relationships with health, business, and consumer reporters and analyze media coverage insights.
- Generate story ideas, oversee media materials development, and pitch to secure earned media coverage.
- Create strategic messaging, support media plans, and integrate approaches to drive awareness.
- Provide recommendations for content creation and distribution across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Support creative ideation and participate in professional development initiatives.
- Engage in business development and new business activities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Communications or a related field.
