As one of the top-ranked kidney care programs in the nation, the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at Children’s Mercy provides family-centered care for children and teens with kidney and urinary tract disorders.
The Nephrology APRN will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide care to patients with both chronic and acute renal care needs in the inpatient care setting.
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse I (APRN-I) provides comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing to address the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families within the framework of the collaborative practice agreement. The APRN-I participates in beginning leadership, evidenced-based practice/ research, and organizational development activities with the support and direction of an experienced APRN mentor.
