As Director of Growth at Brain.fm, you'll lead our mission to reach 10+ million users worldwide with a $3M+ annual marketing budget. This pivotal leadership role gives you full ownership of our growth engine working directly with executives while having autonomy to experiment boldly and shape company strategy.


As a player-coach, you'll both optimize campaigns hands-on and develop our long-term vision. You'll manage our agency network and maintain our 250% growth trajectory, with opportunity to build an in-house team as channels mature.

Within your first year, you will:


  • Revenue Growth - Drive our 200% trajectory forward by scaling acquisition spend to $5M+/year while maintaining or improving CAC
  • Channel Expansion - Identify and scale 2+ new high-performing acquisition channels beyond our current mix
  • Global Reach - Develop strategic content partnerships with creators across 5+ languages and markets
  • Conversion Optimization - Increase trial-to-paid conversion rates by 15%+ through funnel and messaging improvements
  • Performance Systems - Build scalable, data-driven marketing infrastructure that supports our next phase of growth

Strategic Growth Leadership


  • Player-Coach Leadership - Own both strategy and execution directly optimize campaigns while building our long-term growth engine
  • Growth Acceleration - Continue our +250% growth by identifying scalable, repeatable acquisition strategies
  • Channel Expansion - Scale our proven performance marketing flywheels while developing 2-3 new high-potential channels
  • Data-Driven Testing - Design and implement an experimentation framework that delivers 10+ actionable insights weekly
  • Executive Partnership - Collaborate with our executive team to align growth initiatives with product roadmap, maintaining capital efficiency


Performance & New Channel Development


  • Budget Management - Scale our $250K/mo performance budget, optimizing our proven acquisition channels
  • Creative Direction - Develop compelling creative assets that convert our product story into high-performing ads
  • Channel Innovation - Identify and scale at least 2 new customer acquisition channels beyond our current mix
  • Content Partnerships - Expand our relationships with study, focus, and sleep creators that have generated millions of views
  • Agency Optimization - Manage our network of agencies and contractors effectively, bringing in specialized expertise as channels mature

Essential Experience


  • Performance Marketing - Experience managing $5-10M in acquisition spend with proven success scaling while maintaining efficient CAC in consumer subscription businesses
  • Player-Coach Mindset - Comfort being hands-on with campaigns while also setting strategic direction, thriving in a small team environment without extensive infrastructure
  • Channel Development - Track record of identifying and scaling at least 2 new acquisition channels beyond traditional paid media, particularly in subscription revenue models
  • Agency Management - Proven experience working with and managing multiple agencies and contractors to maximize results without building large in-house teams
  • AI & Automation - Experience leveraging AI tools and marketing automation to maximize efficiency and scale campaigns without proportional headcount growth
