Job Title: Legal Client Services Representative / Paralegal
Job Summary:
The firm’s Legal Client Services Representative/Paralegal is responsible for providing legal administrative support on escalated litigation processes. The Legal Client Services Representative will work in a team-oriented environment to deliver highest level of services internally and to the clients.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Client Services Representative/Paralegal with a client services/paralegal background to serve as the primary liaison between our legal team and clients for legal escalation matters. This role requires a strong understanding of legal processes across multiple jurisdictions and the ability to respond accurately and professionally to legal inquiries.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, inter-personal skills, and a client-first mindset, and the ability to manage sensitive legal documents, escalations, and inquiries efficiently and compliantly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Act as the central point of contact for legal escalations from clients and internal teams.
· Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status, document requests, and legal timelines.
· Respond to legal inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with state-specific legal requirements.
· Coordinate with internal legal, compliance, and operations teams to resolve client escalations in a timely manner.
· Review and route legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and court orders, to appropriate internal teams.
· Monitor and track escalated legal matters through resolution, maintaining proper documentation and audit trails.
· Ensure client service excellence by providing accurate, prompt, and professional responses.
· Support process improvement initiatives related to legal escalation management and client communication.
· Stay up to date on state-specific legal rules and procedures to ensure accurate handling of multi-jurisdictional matters.
Legal Client Services Representative Department Job Duties:
· Assist in drafting client communications, status reports, and legal summaries as needed.
· Transmit legal documents and correspondence to clients.
· Manage and provide EOD updates as well as any issues that have raised during the day.
Education and Experience:
2 years + experience in an administrative position in legal, banking or business field. Must be well versed in Excel.
