To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.

The primary purpose of your role is to provide expert, data-led oversight and robust check-and-challenge on business activities and compliance matters. Your role is critical in ensuring that the organization operates in alignment with Barclays' legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities. By leveraging data and insights, your role supports informed decision-making and strengthens the organization's ability to evidence compliance, uphold standards, and manage risk effectively.
To be successful as a Financial Crime Business Oversight Compliance - AVP, you should have experience with:
Time and task management abilities, with a proven capacity to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
Adaptability and responsiveness in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments, maintaining high performance under pressure
A finance, banking, or consulting background in KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering), with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk mitigation
Some other highly valued skills may include:
CAMS Certification is preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in financial crime prevention, including expertise in identifying, investigating, and mitigating financial crime risks
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our New York, NY office.
Minimum Salary $110,000
Maximum Salary $135,000
