Principal Digital Design Engineer
Skills
- Expertise in high-speed communication protocols such as PCIe Gen 3+, Ethernet, Infiniband, DDR, NVMe, USB.
- Strong front-end design skills including RTL coding, timing closure, GLS, DFT, and UVM verification.
- Experience with digital design and verification tools from Cadence or Synopsys.
- Ability to manage complex SoC designs and deliver production-ready silicon.
- Familiarity with small-geometry CMOS technology (≤28nm).
Responsibilities
- Develop micro-architecture and front-end circuit designs including RTL, synthesis, and IP integration.
- Perform block-level verification and validation for high-performance network controllers.
- Drive full chip or block-level ownership from architecture through GDS.
- Utilize Cadence and Synopsys tools in digital design flows.
- Implement design-for-test strategies including DFT and scan test insertion.
- Collaborate on silicon bring-up and debug processes.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
