Skills
- Proficient in modern C++, object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and Linux development.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of communication networking protocols such as EtherCAT and CAN.
- Familiarity with robotics packages including ROS, URDF, MuJoCo, and Eigen.
- Expertise in controls software integration and hardware abstraction layers.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable platform software for robotic systems.
- Develop software requirements, architectures, schedules, and test plans for full-stack robotic platforms.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis for complex hardware-software-control integration issues.
- Design APIs, services, and frameworks to support prototype robots and off-nominal testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in development and production environments.
- Develop fault detection, diagnostics, and recovery plans to enhance system robustness.
- Support validation teams with segmented control software for efficient testing and data collection.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
