Senior Product Sourcing Engineer (Mechanical)

Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier selection using the approved supplier list.
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via requirement scoping and design collaboration.
- Drive manufacturing BOM development and ramp production in coordination with Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Manage CAPEX throughout New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
- Complete BOM risk assessments including alternate sourcing.
- Ensure component qualification completion prior to production.
- Optimize complexity through commonality and supplier rationalization.
- Lead all cost engineering activities maximizing total cost of ownership over the product lifecycle.
- Manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs, import-export costs, and inflation.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
