This role is within the Controllership Organization supporting AMEX Assurance Company (AAC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Express Company. AAC is primarily a property and casualty travel-related insurance company that underwrites fee-based insurance and no additional charge (NAC) insurance products for US Card Members. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate accounting and reporting for AAC.
The Manager will lead the end-to-end statutory accounting and reporting, as well as well as statutory filings to AAC’s regulator, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and AM Best insurance rating agency. They will also support statutory filings to various States/municipalities. The Manager assists the Director in preparing presentations to the AAC Board and committees and managing internal and external audits. They will work closely with the key business partners in the AAC business and across Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain deep knowledge of the insurance business within American Express, as well as gain exposure to and insight from leadership.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
