What makes this role exciting and challenging:

As a UX Researcher you will support design, implementation and delivery of UX Research within Design. You will collaborate with team members (Product, Insights, Data Science, Marketing, etc) to ensure high-quality insights so that product concepts, features and propositions can be effectively designed, validated and prototyped using the appropriate methodology, processes & tools. You will have the opportunity to utilise the full range of your research skills and work alongside a great team of people. We work as part of cross functional teams located in Greece, London, Ireland and Chicago.

  • Help senior members of the UX Research team to establish a user research process across discovery, concept validation and prototype, in collaboration with the Product Design and Data teams.
  • Apply appropriate research methods to address the questions at hand, considering the nature of data needed (Qualitative/Quantitative) and the aspects to assess (Behavioural/Attitudinal).

  • Recruit and schedule representative panels of participants.
  • Facilitate or being an active observer in moderated usability tests/ interviews.

  • Implement frameworks for sharing findings (users, market, competitors etc) on a regular basis in an engaging way to improve knowledge across teams. Compile and deliver these insights regularly to the design team and internal stakeholders.
  • Support product designers to ask the right research question, develop testable hypotheses, document assumptions and design research / testing approaches.
  • Guide Product Designers, stakeholders and team members to use best research practices and advocate for user centred design.

Key qualifications for your success:

  • Working experience as a facilitator in Usability tests/ Interviews on software products
  • Experience with remote user testing methodologies & tools.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with product development teams in an Agile environment.

It would be highly advantageous if you had:

  • Ability to confidently convey purpose, value and concepts of design-lead product development to non-design team members.
  • Ability to drive greater and deeper team understanding of customers' needs, motivations and behaviours.
  • Good persuasion and relationship building skills to influence decision making and culture.
