Conceive, design, engineer, and implement SAP centric analytic technology solutions that enable and enhance Abbvie’s reporting capabilities or solve business problems. Investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-art technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains in own function and throughout multiple business areas.

Act as a lead developer on the implementation of reporting analytics solutions focused on managing data integrity, aggregating, reconciling, and integrating data from multiple data sources (SAP and Non-SAP) into a global consolidated SAP BW/4HANA reporting platform with Industry Best Practices to enable informed decision-making capabilities.

This role will be involved in showcasing self-service analytical toolset and evangelize the capability of SAP analytics solution.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with solution architect, business and functional team to understand and define system requirements, recommend SAP BW HANA technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Design, develop and implement of SAP BW HANA and Native HANA solutions.
• Develop technical specifications/detailed design for BW HANA data modeling.
• Develop Queries and Analytical solutions in Analytics Cloud or Analysis for Office.
• Participate in solution architecture design in projects to ensure designed architecture meets industry standards and quality gates.
• Responsible for performance tuning of BW systems utilizing best practices to support effective analytics performance.
• Work with security team on BW/HANA security setup and enforce data governance standards and processes.
• Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for SAP BW Reporting production and development issues.
• Highly autonomous and productive in performing activities, requiring only minimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. Keeps key stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication.
• Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, data security, and the software development lifecycle.

**This role will require 3 days in the Waukegan office. Candidates who are not local or within a commutable distance would be expected to relocate.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA.
• Well versed with Data warehousing concepts with a minimum of 2 end-to-end SAP BW4/HANA or native HANA implementations.
• Fully experienced in both SAP BW LSA++ and native SAP HANA Data Modeling techniques using Calculation View and Table Function.
• Experience with Data provisioning, Transformation, Modeling, Security and authorization using HANA DB and BW4/HANA.
• Excellent skills in SQL/Python script to answer immediate business requirements.
• Experience with frontend visualization tools and dashboards using Business Objects WEBI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlik or Power BI.
• Demonstrated understanding of core business processes such as Finance, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Supply Chain.
• Technical understanding and expertise of SAP SLT/SDI, enterprise-class ETL and middleware tools.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​ Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
