Skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall).
- Experience in building data pipelines and lakehouse platforms with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake.
- Strong knowledge of Power Platform, REST APIs, and custom connector development.
- Proficiency with DevOps tooling including Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform/Bicep, and ARM templates.
- Deep understanding of Azure security models such as RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and Conditional Access.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards HL7, FHIR, and X12.
- Capability in multiple programming languages including SparkSQL, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Architect and advise on lakehouse architectures using Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Databricks, and other Azure services.
- Serve as technical lead for cross-functional cloud initiatives including infrastructure, DevOps, application development, and data/AI.
- Lead solution design and governance for Power Platform and integration with Azure services and custom APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and audit across languages like SparkSQL, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
- Implement DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and document architecture blueprints, solution roadmaps, and reference implementations.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST), scalability, and operational excellence.
- Provide domain-specific solution guidance for healthcare data formats such as HL7, FHIR, X12.
- Conduct executive-level briefings and coach early career engineers.
- Develop reusable code assets and templates to increase project velocity.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (implied).
